Item 8.01.  Other Events

 

On December 30, 2015, Liberty Media Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Greg Maffei, President and CEO of the Company, will be presenting at the Citi Global Internet, Media and Telecommunications Conference on Wednesday, January 6th at 5:00 p.m., P.S.T. (8:00 p.m., E.S.T.) at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.  During his presentation, Mr. Maffei may make observations regarding the Company's financial performance and outlook and the proposed creation of the Liberty Braves Group tracking stock, the Liberty SiriusXM Group tracking stock and the Liberty Media Group tracking stock.

 

The press release is being filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K in compliance with Rule 425 of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and is hereby incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
