On September 15, 2016, Liberty Media Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Greg Maffei, President and CEO of the Company, will be presenting at the 25th Annual Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference on Thursday, September 22nd at 11:20 a.m., E.T. at the Conrad Hotel in New York, New York.  During his presentation, Mr. Maffei may make observations regarding the Company's financial performance and outlook and the proposed acquisition of Formula One.

The press release is being filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K in compliance with Rule 14a-12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, and is hereby incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
